It's proving difficult for me to be where I'm at. I'm unsettled wondering if this is where I'm supposed to be...and even more than that, I question whether or not this is really where I want to be. I miss my family and my friends. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for my life; but I can't help but wonder what I'm doing here...
I've finally added a little decor to my apartment wall. It's surprising how much it adds to the room-- and I love it!
I spoke to a good friend of mine today from the Dominican Republic. In August it will have been one year since I've seen him, which is CrAzY! I miss him very much, as he is an AMAZING man of God and has a very special place in my heart. We spoke about taking chances...and all the while I had to keep myself from buying a plane ticket out of here! :-) It's that haunting "what if?" question...If I could snap my fingers and be anywhere in the world, that is where I would go; to the Dominican, to see my wonderful friend :-)
Here's a picture of us having a playful stare-down at the beach last summer...haha.
For anyone reading my blog (if anyone at all) I realize these are extremely short, but I'm working on it! ;)
Blessings!

I must say that I too enjoy your wall art. I would really like to have some wall decals for our walls. I bought some really nice ones quite a few years ago and knew I would put them up when I have a house of my own, but seeing yours makes me want to put it up NOW! Moving to a new place is always a challenge. It is difficult being far away from family, I can agree with that for sure. You are lucky though to have some friends in Arizona too and will make plenty more. You seem to have no problem with this :) It will take time for you to figure out is this is where you need to be. Give it a chance, which you seem to be doing :) If it doesn't feel right still in a years time, I say leave. Go to the Dominican, why wonder ? If you have the funding and vacation time at some point (even this year) why not ??? You are the only person stopping yourself.
